Scenic Wyoming

Last Sunday we were traveling the back roads from Cody to Cheyenne in Wyoming and we wound up in a beautiful canyon. Unfortunately, this was after we'd hit a deer and damaged the radiator so we were too busy watching the temperature gauge to truly appreciate the views. I managed to take a few pictures out the window, though.

Yes, there was still snow on the ground! Of course, snow the last day of April isn't unusual for Wyoming. And yes, it was cold.

The rock formations were incredible. There were monoliths and what looked like caves.

Even as beautiful as it was, I couldn't really enjoy the scenery. Hopefully the next time we're on this route I won't be so concerned about a radiator leak that I can't appreciate how beautiful the country is!
